With 2022 now officially here, that being said, I am hoping dearly that 2022 is a tad better than in 2021 and 2022 for us all. This virus seems to have taken such a hold on the planet, and we are all getting rather tired of it now...so time to blow it all away with a hope that this year will be brighter, healthier, and happier.
I am part of a food saver and love to be part of Olio, which is a food-saving community that works alongside supermarkets, rescuing food and redistributing it to those in my friend and family circle who may need it.
So just a couple of days ago, I managed to get hold of some Persimmons which are apple looking in shape, coloured bright orange and when very ripe, are sweet as can be. So in order for me to make the most use of these, I pureed some, dehydrated the rest for another day, and made this video for you all to make your own Persimmon Green Sencha Tea with Pine Needles...go and find some yourselves and have a little fun with this vitamin and mineral-packed fruit!
Now I do recommmend that you do not use boiling water, as this can damage the vitamins that are in the tea. so instead, boil your water and then allow to cool slightlyy before infusing.
