Candle Club

Join Chantelle and Sara as they take you on a journey of essential oils, sampling different aromas and learning about the benefits of each oil and how to blend them to create your own aroma!

We will teach you how to choose the right oils and fragrances for your candle, with guidance on pouring, heat temperatures, choosing the right containers and creating a candle with an appropriate intention, whether it is for yourself, a gift for a friend or a house warming!

By the end of your time, you will have made a gorgeous candle to take home with you, it will need approximately 24-48 hours to solidify so if you decide to take it home on the day, please take care! You are more than welcome to leave the candle with us for 24 hours and collect on the Sunday afternoon.

What's Included?

On arrival at our workshop in St Andrews, Guernsey, you will be warmly welcomed with a hot drink or soft beverage and then we will get you settled for your class to begin.

After a light refreshment, the class will begin with Chantelle teaching you about the oils and waxes we use, how to blend them and use them safely. You will then be able to blend your own perfume base to add to your candle mix.

Sara will then take you step-by-step through the process before putting your skills to the test, creating your very own 6oz scented soy wax candle, plus you can be reassured that all of our ingredients are cruelty free, vegan friendly and absolutely wonderful to work with.

After pouring your candle, you’ll personalise them with your own custom label and ta dah! You have completed one of our workshops! When you leave us, you will also have your own blend menu so you can make the same candle again at home, or return to us to make more for your home and friends! 

Experience?

This workshop has been designed for complete beginners, sweet treats and tea will be provided throughout. We offer gentle instruction and will be on hand throughout your time with us to answer any questions or lend a hand.

Allergies

If you have any allergies, please let us know in advance so we can arrange alternative snacks. We also offer Gluten Free biscuits and cake as standard.

Disability Access

Unfortunately our workshop is accessed by an outdoor staircase and is not wheelchair friendly. We can though offer an in home workshop for groups of four or more, where we bring our candle workshop to your home. Please contact us for prices and availability.

The workshop will need a minimum of four people and a maximum of eight per class, we are also happy to arrange private workshops for groups, hen parties, bridal showers, corporate events and family get togethers.

We do ask that if for any reason you are feeling unwell on the day, that we reschedule your workshop for another date, that way you get to enjoy your time and protect others from any infections.
